Razer, a world leader in connected devices and software for gamers, today announced the Razer Naga Chroma. The latest in the Razer line of mice brings the world's most advanced mouse sensor to the world of MMO gaming. The Razer 5G laser sensor is capable of tracking up to true 16,000 DPI in down to 1 DPI increments. This is significant improvement over a current industry standard of 50 DPI increment tracking. The device boasts effectively no interpolation, which is optimized for multi-display setups with ultra-high display resolutions, ideal for immersive MMO gameplay.

At the heart of the Razer Naga Chroma is its iconic 12 concave mechanical thumb grid buttons with tactile, audible feedback, optimized specifically for MMO gaming. Each button on the thumb grid ergonomically stands out to allow for blind-finding, letting gamers more easily execute commands. "People thought we were crazy when we invented the MMO gaming mouse -- and the Razer Naga went on to surpass even our own expectations -- but now, many of our competitors are trying to recreate the design of this game-changing device," says Min-Liang Tan, Razer co-founder and CEO. "We're confident that the sensor technology we are utilizing will keep Razer Naga users a step ahead of their competition."

The Razer Naga Chroma is the flagship product in Razer's line of gaming peripherals designed for MMO players. The Razer Naga Chroma joins the Razer Naga gaming mouse line which includes the Razer Naga Epic Chroma, with a wireless option that also features a 12-button mechanical thumb grid, and the Razer Naga Hex which features six larger mechanical buttons that are designed for games like Diablo, League of Legends and Heroes of the Storm.

The Razer Naga Chroma also joins other Chroma-enabled Razer devices, including the award-winning Razer DeathAdder Chroma and Razer Mamba gaming mice, the Razer BlackWidow Chroma gaming keyboard and the Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma headset, as well as the Razer Firefly gaming-grade mouse mat. All Chroma products feature 16.8 million customizable colors and a range of effects such as spectrum cycling, breathing, reactive and so on, all enabled through Razer's Synapse software. Synapse allows synchronizing lighting colors and patterns between Chroma devices with the click of a button.

The Razer Naga Chroma will also be included in the Chroma SDK. With the Razer hardware API, game developers can punctuate in-game events with lighting effects on Chroma-enabled devices for a more immersive gaming experience.

I love this mouse. The shape is great. The weight is great. Being able to sync my settings for it across all my systems is great. The only down side is that the side buttons are a little too light and I tend to press them by accident. Also the the textured side grip glue is crap and leaks in high ambient temps(summer is 35C FFS) they should've gone with a clip on system for that.

still subpar to a G600 or a Nyth hell even to a GXT 166 (i owned all of them, the Naga too ... i even gave a go on the 2014 which is the same as that one without Chroma ... well Razer will always be Razer from now on )

my Nyth is still going strong ... i can't say the same on the Naga 2014 ... 2 RMA in 4 month, not what i call a good impression... and at last on the Nyth you have the finswitch (2 way button) and the EasyShift[+] button under the scrollwheel which can be remapped or used stock to double the other buttons command.

simple hierarchy:
Nyth>G600>>GXT 166>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>R.A.T.Z. M.M.O>>>Naga

I tried a G600 and the placement of the thumb buttons was hard for me, Naga fits my hand better for some reason. Also, I like how you don't have to use software with the Naga for it to work, as the numbers are just numbers. Have to have software on the G600.

i never used the software on my G600 numbers were just number ... :p

tho the Nyth well the software is awesome (not like the Razer one ... i know why you don't use it no worries  )

and also when i don't need all the buttons on my Nyth and do not want risk to press them by mistake like on a Naga or a G600 or even the GXT166 :

even the Tyon i had before the Nyth was better on many point than the Nagas i got (and tested thoroughly )

Agree. Me and 4 friends (we're WoW raiders at that time) once tried new (back then) naga 2013 and new G600. We're all think Naga has better fit, grip and ergonomic than awkward-ish G600. One of us is Logitech die hard fan and refuse to buy any Razer. So he ended up with Corsair M90... for a month lol

No offense but i think thats just personal experience and opinion, we are all entitled to our own opinion. Razer is one of the highest rated PC gaming companys and iv owned a Razer Naga for almost 2 years now and have had absolutely 0 problems with it.

indeed :D (tho the Tyon is my second favorite, not much of a mono mouse aficionado )
@GreiverBlade, I'm curious how you use the fin - do you use your index and middle fingers to push the fin left/right or do you place a finger on top of the fin and rock it left or right? I'd prefer the latter if that's possible - I think using knuckles to push the fin might feel a bit difficult and awkward to do.

Benchmark Scores bench...mark? i do leave mark on bench sometime, to remember which one is the most comfortable. :o

well for me the knuckle push works fine in emergency case (in most mmo games i assign them to heal and most used buff pot/items in world of warships i tend to assign them to hard starboard/port steering )

As razer sponsors me I have to recommend there products.
how i missed that ... well they sponsor you, you're sold to them (they probably give you cherry picked model) henceforth your opinion is biased. (no accusation just a personal opinion tho ...)

otherwise why would literally be hundredth customer (probably more) with bad experience with them ?

small example: Razer, all my product from them failed in 4-6month except a Lycosa (who is in a bad shape now, after a normal usage that didn't even wear out a G19 1st serie, back-light almost unnoticeable, all keys deteriorated not only WASD) and a Orochi (who is also in a bad shape, the surface is falling in flakes and i don't use it that often, luckily that one didn't have the sensor failure or even buttons failure that all my Naga models with no exceptions had, which include as i said once the original one a Epic and a 2014) while my Tyon or Nyth or even my Ryos TKL Pro never had any issue in the same time-frame.
