Razer, the world leader in high-performance gaming hardware and software, today announced the addition of the Razer BlackShark Stereo Gaming Headset. Inspired by tactical aviator headsets and armed with total audio immersion, Razer's newest piece of audio hardware comes as a Razer-branded version of the popular Battlefield 3 Razer BlackShark, a headset that the company developed from the ground up for the Battlefield franchise and released earlier this year at E3.

I am not sure how they are going to perform, but that green outline looks flipping ugly. What was Razer thinking? :banghead:

i think it looks good and the orca is cool too id ge one if it had a mic for my GF. the problem i have is how do you have an aluminum copper clad voice coil? How are they going to prevent those metals from reacting with each other and causing the coil to disintegrate.

Because we aren't flying choppers :p I'm sure if someone wants replica chopper headsets they are out there.

I like it. But they haven't worn headsets like that in combat choppers for years. Anyway this looks just to be a rebrand of the BF3 headset.

Razer has a status quot to live up to, this is another piece of ugly overpriced junk among the few good products they make.

Ill tell ya if I had the spare cash I might give these a try. Ive had my Bose for about 4 years now. They still sound great but they are starting to wear out. I could care less about the color. No one sees me play video games except for a pair of homosexual squirrels next to my office. (no joke)

I really like them, even the green, and would love to purchase them, if they really are quality. But that price is scary

copper-clad aluminum has the same resistance to corrosion as pure copper and then the wire is coated in a synthetic enamel to protect against shorting out.

I actually like these. My fav colour is green. I love the mechanical look also. That price tag though turns me away though. You can get something just as good half he price.

^ i like the neon green i'd look like an asshole wearing them in public but it's not for the public it's for me. That being said i just avoid anything to do with razer and sound i trusted them once and they burned me so hard, it still to my logitech products which have never broken or fucked up so badly that i'd avoid their products.
