Considering this comes from the same company that introduced synapse I'm not surprised. Just another reason to steer clear of this garbage brand.

Their Synapse software just blows.

Multiple issues I came across when using it with my Naga 2014 mouse (that broke just after the warranty) and the Synapse software:
1) tracking issues - uninstalled Synapse and tracking issue went away
2) tracking issues without the software - re-installed Synapse and tracking issue went away
3) tracking issue came back - uninstalled, did not fix. Had to manually clean the registry - tracking issue went away
4) Middle mouse click not working - installed software, middle mouse working
5) GPU not throttling down to idle/2D clocks, stuck at 3D clocks. Killed programs running - Synapse was the culprit
6) Middle mouse button issues again - installed Synapse software for a fourth time, issue went away
7) 2 weeks after warranty, middle mouse button completely failed
8) picked up a Logitech G502 and have been using it for almost 2.5 years now without any issues.

Only thing I make use of now from Razer is the Cortex software, and that's only for tracking time played in games for my own OCD needs.

Razer is like the Apple for Windows dedicated products.
Except that Apple is making good product and stable environment for their apps (even if I find it too pricey still).

Razer makes also crappy drivers like for the second generation of Naga mouses ...

It's not the driver that's bad, it's just the hardware - period. I bet if that user from Reddit used the Naga mouse on a clean, white sheet of paper it would track just fine. The sensor on the Naga just, for lack of a better word, blows.

Another epic fail..
I'm lost for words.
Anyone using this should be banned from using a PC and instantly given a free console. Can't we think up a PEGI rating for that based on IQ?
Agreed.
WTH Razer? Get your heads out of your back-sides be less shady.

While I didn't see it, I'm guessing it was deleted because it did not meet forum standards. Please review them here;

I wouldn't want their overpriced hardware for free let alone for crunching numbers for them.

Before we all subscribe ourselves to hateful personal embargo`s against Razer for this horrendous crime against the enthusiast community,
humanity and kittenfolk in kind.
I remember a very popular tech site I subscribe to entertaining the prospect of mining with members computers whilst they were logged into the forums.
but most people (and kittens) seem to still be here.

Seems like Razer is a little late to the crypto party, unless they hope to hold whatever coin and hope it goes up in value. Also seems like an obvious cash grab to me. And the points even expire! You're not getting much at all by doing this.

As for their products, I've had a couple of their headsets. They weren't bad, honestly. This was also years ago... like 6 or 7.

I am a South Korean.
If you need to know
Cryptography is more difficult as people get more money.
So you have to show your best passion in a short time, in a low cost electricity area.
Good luck.

And Softminer
There is no resource limiter and it is 32-bit software.
See the programmer for low efficiency.

Electricity is very expensive in South Korea!

The funniest thing about this is how you lose your crypto after a year of mining it. So unless you have more than one card you can't mine quick enough to purchase the most expensive stuff.

"I purchased a warehouse in Guangzhou and filled it with Antminer T9s and the first thing I'm going to mine is Razer Silvers because I really want that keyboard, it shines with colours." That could be the start of a routine.

Razer Silver isn't even a cryptocurrency, to make it worse. Who knows what they really mine.
