Hi, I have SAPPHIRE HD 4850 512MB GDDR3 PCI-E Dual Slot Fansink, with RBE I want to change fan speed in 2d(idle), to make the cart more silent, now it stay at 37% with activity 0% , 41C, from sapphire support I received " Slow down the fan speed in 2D mode will still have rick to cause the GPU damage.

23% fan speed is low enough and balance with GPU temperature.

Less than 20% will cause above issue to damage the GPU , so even under CCC , it only starts from 20%.", k I want 25%, but when I change this valor in bios with RBE , others settings change too, although I want to keep it the others settings (I have latest bios from here http://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/...del=HD+4850&interface=PCI-E&memSize=512)..any ideea were i'm wrong...

You can't change fan speeds based on what power state the video card is in, but rather only by what the GPU temperature is...
