it is since the new driver, so i think the problem is the driver. Scamps, could you say to me how a typical artifact look like? well ia had one in crysis but i think it was the same with my old 4870. there was an machine gun above an SUV ( Hummer ) which was burned. The machine gun was not really tighten.

but i think the artifacts the others mean are more like txture flimmering an such stuff?

so called artifacts could be e. g. pixel with wrong colour or pixel on the wrong place, sometimes complete lines with wrong pixels etc.
it depends on the reason of those artifacts, have a look at this

Now everything I wanted is working as it should - fan speed, powerplay, voltage - without any software needed.

What card do you have? bios? cooler?

With powercolor bios i can´t put vgpu on 1.3v.

Sapphire HD4770 asus top bios

Left powerplay voltage unchanged, but changed registers only, now works a charm.

But new question arises.

When I changed powerplay voltage, powerplay stopped working, but GPUtool allowed mem to OC to 1200 plus with no artefacts. when I change voltage to same value with the registers, GPU OCs the just as well, but the mem will only OC to 1050 before artefacts.

Do the 2 methods have an affect on the voltage fed to the ram?

Would anyone have some offers ? how to change the settings to act in accordance with graph?

or how to do as it forced to work quickly, strongly, by bios? Because the standard is too slow cooling.
ps: with Radeon Bios Editor v1.24 I try to create a faster cooling, and it works very poorly, not as a pay entirely in accordance with graph.
