Hi,

I recently upgraded from a 260gtx to a HD5850. Real Temp originally had no problems detecting and giving me the temp of the 260gtx, however, now it's just giving me, "106A5." It's nice to be able to see how high the temps are getting during games, and afterwards.

Anyone have any idea's what I can do to fix this?

Thanks,

Yea, does this with my ATi cards. Not sure it can read ATi's...

Just a guess.

I get 1067A ;)

Ah. Now that really sucks :(

Thanks man. Hopefully the next release will have ATI cards.

Sweet. I'll give it a try once I get home.

Thanks!

I tried what you mentioned using the beta. Unfortunately it still does not recognize my HD5850.

Does GPU-Z have a mini mode by any chance? I'll just have that start up on load. :)

Thanks,

King Icewind

EDIT: Doesn't look like it does. :(

Other users have got RealTemp working with their 5870 cards so I'm not sure what the issue is. Does the Catalyst Control Center show you the GPU temperature? If it does then can you send me a PM and send me what your RealTemp.ini file looks like. Just do a Copy / Paste into a message.

Alright, I feel really stupid now (more than usual). I was just about to send you that PM when I noticed the "remove colon for these to take effect" part. So i took off the colon and it works great!

Thanks a bunch! My apologies if I was too much of a nuisance. ;)

Idling at 30C right now, lower then my CPU under water lol.

Thanks for getting this figured out. That's why I wanted to see the RealTemp.ini file. I thought it might be something simple. :)

Why not post a screen shot of the new features so other users can check it out? I've been meaning to call that version 3.60 but there were a couple of very minor issues I wanted to fix first but I haven't got around to it yet.

Looks like it works. My 5770 card uses the same VID voltage and same MHz at idle.

If you haven't found this trick yet, you can double click on RealTemp for its mini mode.

Yes sir. I was able to do it with 3.0 and 3.4, however the beta doesn't seem to want to. No worries though, as I like it full better. I can see the min/max temps, and load. I'm a bit of a temperature freak lol.

Mini mode still works in RealTemp 3.58.1. You better practice your double clicking skills. :)
