REALLY bad flash (RX580 -> 2000series)

Recently tried to flash the bios on my RX580 with a bios I found on a popular modding site.
Once flashed the system wouldn't boot.

So I plugged in a second RX580 that I have into adapter 0 and plugged in the bad card into Adapter 1 to get my monitor working again.
Then I ran ATi flash 2.77 with the command -ai and found out that the bios on the bad card is actually 64kb large (instead of 512kb) and identifies as a R600 which is a 2000 series GPU
When I try to flash the bad card with the backed up bios I get "Failed to read rom", "Error 0FL01"

I did some digging and couldn't find anything except the -unlockrom command, which I tried and it still fails.
Also found a hack where you connect pin 1 and pin 8 of a chip on the back of the card together then boot, but I'm not willing to go that far.
I've tried to run a really old version of ATi Flash (4.17) from 2013, but it's not 64bit and windows can't run it in CMD.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

--EDIT--
Figured out how to run 32bit CMD, but I still get the same error when trying to run atiflash-4.17.exe through cmd32...

I thought 580 and all polaris GPUs had dual bios with a switch to move from 1st to 2nd one. Just move the switch and reboot the PC.

Manufacturer dependent, some cut corners

Download the latest version of ATIwinflash, flash from the command prompt in windows using the -f (forced) command. If that doesn't work the only option is shorting the pins. That pretty much always works.

This pretty much. but if the ROM is not allowing writes your prob going to have to short it.

A similiar thing happened to me when my reference rx 480 suffered frrom a bad flash and I actually did the hack where you connect pin 1 and pin 8 of the chip on the back of the card together and then boot the system. That did the trick for me and I was able to reflash the card and it's alive and well today. You might as well try it, what else do you have to lose.

All it does is disable write protection

I don't know what the problem is. But I do know what it isn't. "Flash Type: R600 SPI (64KB)" (typically) refers to the specific brand(something that starts with R), size(600KB?), and bus type(SPI = Serial Peripheral Interface) of EEPROM chip the 64KB BIOS file was flashed on. So nothing at all to do with a 2000, or whatever other, series.
