Recommend me some good electronic duster

I'm in the EU and i prefer not to deal with customs so inside the EU, can i get a recommendation for one of those electronic blower duster things, i don't know the exact name. My case is too damn open and it gets so dusty, i go through dust cans like crazy.

I hadn't game serious games in a while, i fired Spider Man and it smelled almost like burned, the dust was getting hot LMAO

I always swear by Metrovac/Datavac. I have a UK version (old logo) and a US version (new branding). Always works like a charm.

The UK version I was able to just get one off Amazon.co.uk in 2015, dunno if that's still true. I'm sure there are various retailers there you can get it from.

The price on their website seems a bit steep, it actually appears to be a different company that serves as Metrovac's supplier there.

At least on the Amazon.com USA, if you use the search parameters "air duster pc" you'll find some models intended for PCs. Click on one and you'll see a variety of comparable products in the US$40-60 range along with more expensive ones.

Some TPU forum participants run their own PC repair businesses and likely have more powerful, expensive devices for this because canned air isn't cost effective when scaling to dozens/hundreds of PC cases on a near daily basis.

It's up to you to decide your budget which might be tied to how often you expect to blow dust out of your case(s). If you only have one build to dust infrequently, sticking with canned air might be a better solution.

Metrovac and Datavac hover around the US$100 range which for me would be too much as a casual hobbyist living in a low dust home.

I use a Metro Datavac too, it is awesome! So nice not wasting money on those chemical cans.

I love the Metro DataVac, but I did have to open one of mine up (I also have the ESD version) to oil the bearings and that was not easy.

Hi,
I don't like mess and sure don't like lugging machines outside to blow them out every month/...

So I just use my all plastic attachment shop vac and suck the filters clean weekly as I do the carpet/ floors
Never any issues that some say happens via static/ .. electricity.

I use good old Henry, and a 2" paint brush with the handle snapped off, it's not the best but it works.

It's an xpower a-2 and I got it for about 30 euros from eBay in the EU. I use it almost daily and have no complaints at all, in fact it's an extremely useful device which saved me quite a lot of money compared to compressed air cans, not to mention the airflow is substantially higher than canned air can achieve. In fact it's enough to get rid of dried mud from my bike and rip a capacitor from an old amp whan I was not sufficiently careful.

I have this unit and swear by it. Especially for cleaning Keyboards, Rads and Cases of dust build up.

Hmmmm hope you find something that works. I am glad that my home is forced air, I have a 16"x25"x5" MERV 13 filter, just blew out my PC for the first time in 5 years, and even then it didn't really need it.

For keyboards and stuff I typically just use the vacuum with the round bristle attachment.

i have used one of them xpower for about 2 years no issue and it has allot of blowing power . cheap and worthy

I've been using the blower on a cheap shop vac I got from walmart to blow out computers etc. lately and it works pretty well with the narrow end attachment, probably cost less than the smaller versions and does a better job (cost less than $50 here in Canada).

I have had mine for a few years and use it a couple of times a month. The only thing I did to it was take out the foam filter and plug the relief hole on the nozzle for all of the cfms

Only once after the bearing started chattering, and I don't expect to have to do it again.
