I'll fire it up and check other resolutions, but I was running it at 1920x1200 which is what my monitor is natively. The aspect ratio might seem funny as that was a screenshot, then in photoshop and then TPU captured in PS as I was too lazy to actually upload it.

I played the demo on the PS3 a while back, the graphics were ok but the physics were great!, every time i started the demo i just headed for a big semi truck and ram through all the buildings and it felt real and thats what i liked about it even though the graphics are ok but not great, the physics and gameplay make up for it, and i missed the first red faction, i fell in luv with that game when it first came out on the ps2, luved it lol!

Well seems to have been fixed, I'm not sure what it was as I took 2 steps. I updated from cat 9.7's to cat 9.9's then dropped the res to 1680x1050 from 1920, but I am getting pretty harsh lag after chopping down buildings at 1680x1050 so I might drop it down to 1440 
I'm sure it's just killing this poor AII 240.

Anyways tried it on the PS3 well the demo AI are total dumb f*cks.. If i get it for PC i'm not to sure need much more info 1st as it sounds like another play once and shelf games.

The friendly AI is very stupid. They constantly walk in front of you as you are driving by, run in front of you as you are shooting, show up to help you only to get killed, and they take their precious time getting into the vehicle during hostage rescue missions. On hard difficulty, some of the hostage rescue missions are virtually impossible to save them all because they don't get in fast enough.
The enemy AI is pretty good.
I beat it twice and am thinking about beating it again. It's fun to knock buildings down.

Leave task manager running when you start the game and, when it lags up, alt+tab out and see if both cores were 100%. Yeah, even at the menu screen it's pushing 40 - 60% CPU usage....
And now I just loaded up my saved game and it's flickering like crazy again, I alt tabbed out and it put it into windows mode, and that once again gave me that smear of pixels o nthe left and top edges. I can't be certain if this is a good reading for CPU once in game, but it peaked at 100% before I even had a chance to move, then again it was flickering like crazy so that could easily cause that.
I wonder if this game has issues with crossfire, I'm gonna turn of Cat AI and see what that does.

Turned off CF, runs smooth now, guess I'll turn the res back up and hope it still runs smooth, if it doesnt I'll once again be angry CF doesn't work :/

Another bumpp here, anyone using a non-gamepad on this game? The camera angle i nthis is starting to make me feel sick, its too close when I drive vehicles or run, I need to back up from my monitor a bit and should be fine. So was gonna use the PS3 controller, but can't seem to get it to work like in other titles.
