like how far away are you talking? the next room? on the same network or from down the road over the internet?

scenario 1: from the next room, same network: ftp browse to your xbox, open appropriate folder->watch movie

scenario 2: down the street: no fricken clue

    :)

    Hey man!

Everything would have to be setup through a Xbox Linux port (GentooX or X-DSL being the most popular). Pretty much do your research on Linux internet filesharing.

The xbox can pretty much run anything that was made for Linux.

Scenario 2: Refer to my previous post bud. ;)

What you would need to do is setup a default DMZ server with a Dynamic DNS Web & FTP client for Linux.
