Removing Fan from Heatsink

Hi

I need to change a fan on my heatsink, it uses those rubber things with one round sided. can anyone pls let me know how to remove the fan easily?

I tried removing those rubber the reverse way i installed them and i nearly broke one of them and still not able to remove it.

pls help, thanks

if you have tweezers or skinny needle nosed pliers, pull the nubs out of the side of the fins.

To remove the rubber mount from the actual fan you should squeeze the base of the cone shaped end of the rubber then pull them out in the reverse of how you installed them.

If you are just going to take the fan off the heatsink then follow SPs advice above.
