Requesting a Power Supplies form section on TPU!

TPU has a large community that discuses all types of tech, for that i find it weird not to have a PSU section for PSU nerds to discuses power supply recommendations and analyze new power supply unites, platforms.

LTT forms have a very sizable and active PSU section on their forms with some very respectable high note members like jhon guro being active there, so i thought TPU would benefit greatly from this and expand the community further

I just buy Seasonic and as served me very well for 15+ some years, and only ever had to RMA one which was totally painless.

But i do agree with you would be nice, i do believe there was on a long time ago made by @DaMulta but i could be wrong about the person who made that thread.

yes i agree its a good idea. im not a PSU nitty gritty sort of guy but i could become one in future as im got more time on me hands im getting into how things work morethan the plug n sell or plug and fix ive been with work.

It would be nice and we do have a few jonnyguru regular posters who post here now and then. Discussions about build quality rather than the usual zero sum brand loyalty statements as above would be refreshing.

The thing that's an issue about PSUs is the people who know nothing love to post in the same group as the people who know a lot.

Of course that's an issue for any hardware. But given the barrier to being truly "knowledgeable" about PSUs is higher, it's even more of an issue.

Still not a bad idea for a section.

Wow I never realized either! I used to go to jonnyguru or silentpcreview back when Mike was active and owner. Now I've been hoping Steve @ GamersNexus would bring some of that back to life, but I've been uninterested in PSUs ever since my options were gone.

I'd love to see one on TPU, maybe even reach out to people and companies so that they can have a Rep there to be helpful!
