This was my review on Steam.
I just finished the game. I haven't used any guide so it was pretty hard, many deaths until I learnt how to deal with the problem. I played on my first playthrough as Claire and second as Leon, I do recommend the game, gameplay wise is awesome, graphics top end, the only thing I'm very disappointed is concerning how the game timeline was done by Capcom, I mean, on the original resident evil 2 PlayStation version, you clearly see the walls broken when you return to the police station as Claire due to the Tyrant have broken x Leon, many things were identical to my first playthrough and that is something I'm very disappointed. Story wise the playstation version is an A, this game's story wise score deserves an E, is disgusting, I think they rushed this game like they did to Resident Evil 7 concerning the story, this game could have got a lot better than it is and Capcom could have done if they wanted to.
There is no b story, is just the same game with somethings different, in the original game we had a b story. This was disappointing.
By the way, Leon was a lot more badass in the original game, this Leon looks like a simp/loser.
Also, do not waste shotgun ammo on zombies, shotgun is a joke on this game, best weapon so far for dealing x zombies is the flamethrower which you get only in the end of the game which makes it pretty useless where you need the most which is at the beginning to deal with hordes of zombies and you have to kill them cause if you dont then you will everytime need to dodge them and a simple mistake on dodging and your game is over.
zombies, lickers and sewer monster are overpowered, dogs, ivy human plants are okay, tyrant running after you is annoying, super tyrant is pretty easy and g boss 1, 2 and 3 are easy, 4 is pretty harcore, very hard to be honest and g5 is easy too.
