Okay, so im supposed to be upgrading a build for a friend of mine. He supplied an Antec Basiq 450. It looks great and all. So, ill make this short. I have a working power supply that I plug into my computer. Works fine. When I plug his in. It powers on, stays on. No BIOS beeps. But doesnt give video.
Now this computer he gave me to look at and put better parts into. Didn't display video when we first turned it on. I thought it was the board. So, I use my working PSU and plug it into his. Doesnt display video.
Simply, is the PSU gone? Ive tried different SATA power thinking HDD was getting power. It has one of the 4x4pin CPU power things. Ive tried both of those. Only thing I havent tried is using VGA on my working computer with it. But I didnt think that would make a difference.
TLDR: Computer works with PSU #1 Old Logysis.. PSU #2 Comes up no display.
Im guessing 2+2=4 in this scenario but im just being 100% sure before I tell him.
