Retain Records after Reboot

Hello,

I am a big fan of this program. Thanks to the entire development team for making this no-nonsense temp monitoring utlity.

On to the question. I have set RealTemp to start with windows.
But I'd like to retain the minumum and maximum temperature 'records' so to speak, indefinitely.
After every reboot, those values shouldn't change, unless of course new records are set for min/max values.
Is there any option to achieve these results?

You can log the results to a file.

Log File

This enables the Log file feature. The log file is stored in the RealTemp directory and is called RealTempLog.txt. The .CSV option will allow you to save your log file in a comma separated format which is easy to directly import into Excel.

If you are using the logging feature then select how many seconds between each entry you would like. The default is 5 seconds.
Possible values include any factor of 86400.
(1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, 15, 18, 20, 25, 30, 40, 45, 50, 60, 80, 90, 100, 120,....., 1800, 3600)

The CPU Load and GPU temperature is now also logged. There are also some new headings at the top of the log file to show you what each value represents.

"retain min/max" would be a nice option though.

I did consider the logging option, but it didn't cross my mind that on top of keeping records, the RealTemp display would read values off the log and insert 'em back into the GUI, after each reboot,
I guess it does!
I have set the values to 3600+3600=7200 seconds, which is 1+1=2 hours.

UPDATE:

Well, it would seem the desired outcome expected of 'logging' in my situation, isn't coming through.
Logging does not have an effect on displaying 'best values reached' for any one session(time between two reboots).
I tried 10 seconds logging but that also doesn't help.

I guess this should be tagged as 'Request this Feature'?
