These have an updated Barefoot Controller with the new OCZ Arowana firmware. Looks like near Sandforce gen 1 performance (at least on the higher capacity models), for quite cheaper prices.

Also, hopefully this means OCZ is close to releasing the updated Arowana firmware for those of us who already have an OCZ SSD with a barefoot controller. However, they have stated they will only support the SSDs with 34nm flash, not 50nm. Anyone know how to determine it?
