IDK if some of us today don't know who Nikola Tesla is then I fear someone like Steve Job might not be praised as he should in the future. At least with modern times, his ego will just be a click away (google).

Those of us of the older generation, lived the entire PC revolution - the history of some geeks that eventually shaped the world as it is today.
Naturally, this involves Mr Jobs, just as much as Mr Gates.

Screw Apple. Screw anyone who wants to bring a technology company to the forefront, and not the passing of a great man.

No, this is not time to hate Apple. This is time to mourn the passing of a man, not the change in a stock.

Whether you love or hate Apple, Steve Jobs deserves more. His unique views and influential enthusiasm will be sorely missed. Long live the memory of Steve Jobs.

and seriously, even if you hate apple they (and jobs) really have changed the world.

Look what the iPod did to the music industry - almost everyone has an MP3 player now, even if its in their phone. CD players in cars all have aux inputs thanks to ipods. touch screen phones wouldnt have been so highly developed by now if apple hadnt convinced people to cough up the extra cash for them, making it a lucrative market for other companies to innovate in, and so on and so forth.
