I downloaded v2.02 of this utility cause i read that i can change the fan speed on my 8800GTS with it's help. Currently the fan runs at 60% (around 1500RPM) aacording to Everest Ultimate. So my question is this, what exactly do i have to do in Riva Tuner to force the fan to run at 100% when i'm gaming, i never used this program before and i don't want to play with the settings on my own. Can anyone help me me with this?

Damn, i was looking for it in the wrong place, i went to to System Setting in Forceware section. Anyway, thanks for clearing this up.

By the way is it ok to keep it at 100% all the time?

Actually i don't hear much noise from it at all. I have a desk fan that is blowing cool air onto my system and this is the only fan that i actually hear. Even after i turned it off i could still barely hear it, it was kind of drowned by the soiund from other system fans.

they rally are not that loud giogos my 7800GS has it set to 90% in 3d mode (albeit i have it set to 35% in 2D mode :D and it stays under 45C)

Your comment brings me to another question, when i was looking for the way to control the fan i went to System Settings instead of Low-Level System Settings. There is a fan setting inb there as well, whats the deal with the 2D, low power 3D and performance 3D? Can i control the fan from there instead of the other area? Is this a better way to manage it?

I see, thanks. And one last thing, in order to enable the 2D/3D fan control i have tgo check the apply fan settings at Windows startup box, is that correct?
