The 955 is faster, but I honestly can't find a game that I can't max and get 60fps with besides Crysis, but an extra core wont fix that massive fuck up of a game.

hey now, that's just an opinion ;) haha. I'd go for the X3 720. as a few here said its a great chip and from what i read here and there i haven't found anything to say otherwise. I'd go with the DFI and x3 720. Your system will then be well rounded instead of your current CPU being a bottleneck.:toast:

Shadow was recommending the 720, which will probably be the opinion of most people here that it is better bang for the buck.

Ok guys, think i will aim for a DFI LANPARTY DK 790GX-M2RS and then in a month after im back from my holiday and a pay day go for a 720BE as they at a great price atm. DDR3 can wait a while i think it needs to mature just like DDR2 has over time.

hi guys just an update, no problems with ebuyer at all. (as allways absoluely great RMA through them no problems)

They gave me account credit to do with what ever i wanted or a refund so i took the account credit and i have ordered the DFI board now and they have credited the rest of the money to my account so gona pick up some new thermal paste (with the rest of the money) whats the best around atm??

Im really laughing my ass off i knew they didnt have the board in stock so i sent it back for RMA hopeing they would have to offer me a new board and it worked!

The problem with the board was that the working lights on the board were not working properly. It was like that since i received the board but they were only lights so i didnt care. I thought they might upgrade me to a diffrent Asus board (maybe the crosshair II) but i got a full refund. I had bought the board originally back in 2007 and had RMA'd it once before, but everytime you receive a new item from ebuyer it is covered by a new warranty.

All i can say is what great RMA ebuyer has and i will continue to buy from them in the future.

ebuyer are one of the best etailers in the UK. Their RMA process is amazing, I'd send stuff back, even if it was in stock, call them up and get an upgrade for a small fee, they don't mind about that.

The best Thermal Paste in my opinion is Arctic Cooling MX-2.

Lol, nah, I mean when I RMA stuff, I know for a fact that I'll be able to upgrade it just by paying them the difference, unlike other e-tailers which will only send back the same product you sent back.

LOL, i have just ordered the Cpu paste also and they gave me free shipping on that and with the money left over im £11.30 in credit. That will be a nice reduction on the 720be im going to get next month!

All i can say is, i love you ebuyer! A new board better then what i had with some decent thermal paste and money left over. I almost see it as free as i was going to replace the board anyways, as i fell in love with the 790 chipset.

Love it!!
