@ OrbitzXT: Won't make a difference to playing GTA IV, but might wanna pick up the Rockstar pack on Steam. It's not much, and all of the games in the list are good. They're good games that you probably missed out on.

@ X-Tender: They've probably been working really hard on it and the videos and screenshots show it as being an awesome looking game, the wait is probably worth it.

@ Steevo: If it' like the older versions, probably in 6 months time or something. They make most of their money from the console versions, but at least when it finally his, it should be cheaper.

Time to pre-order now. I usually don't pre-order if the game does not have an official/confirmed release date. I might pre-order it from amazon, for i get 10% off, plus have $50 bucks in gift certificates (i have an amazon credit card, and gift certif. are its reward points). The game will cost me $4 bucks then, BUT i shall pay the 1 or two day shipping.

also four new screenies:

Last good one was Vice City, I still have San Andreas pretty much new in its box sitting on my shelf. But if multi-player support is included in GTA4, it'll be the best Grand Theft Auto yet!

/me is a dedicated GTA fan since 1997! :rockout:

How the helld oes it not look much better than GTA SA? SA looks like crap! That's the only reason why my laptop can run it! Ya blind bloody bat! lol
GTA 3 was the best, and I remember reading that someone had adapted the GTA VC engine, for GTA 3, so you could use bikes in GTA 3 for PC... still didn't get around to using it, but that's probably the best mod for GTA 3 PC.
GTA VC was good, story was good, but for some reason, I prefered SA to VC. Just personal preference.

GTA3 started it all
GTA:VC looked the best
GTA:SA had a shit load of content

If you want to buy a ps3, i recommend going through sony themselves...as they are offering $100 off when you open a 12month interest free credit card.

cant wait for the pc version.. is a shit it will be delayed like they allways are..... try & make the most profit before the piracy takes it cut.... then release it on PC at a descent price & try & get people to buy it before they revert to piracy...

will b good to play this on my pc... i prefer 2 play everything on my pc compared to console... & with my PS2/3 style wireless controller this game will b sweet!

p.s. u gotta love the internet!

thats what everyone will hear untill the console sales have had there boom... then it will b released on pc wich will then be pirated a stupid amount of times & make them less money.....

also every other GTA has come out on PC (excluding mini types like the psp thing...) even when they said it probably wouldn't!

just my opinion... (sorry... am a little trashed...)

GTA:VC FTW! After living 18 years near the real Vice City, it reminds me of home ;)

So far I've liked the whole consoles first, PC's second release schedule. Could jack the PC's resolution up, textures and lighting looked better, farther view distance, etc. When re-playing (after playing it first on a console) it's almost like a new game.

I wasn't able to force AA for GTA 3 or GTA:VC, but I heard that SA supports it.

What started it all:

Vice City:
