Rosewill's portfolio includes the Fortress line, a Platinum PSU series for users who look for high efficiency and reliability, but are on a tight budget. We are testing the 750W model today, which features a non-modular cabling design to save on cost and comes with a hefty seven-year warranty. The cherry on top is its silent operation.

"budget Platinum", two words I never thought I'd see in the same sentence. But this unit's price is definitely on the low side considering its performance, build quality and components, and of course warranty. About the only thing I'd complain about is that additional EPS connector; I'd have preferred 2 more PCIe connectors instead.

FWIW, I energy-raped (near 100% load) about 10 of these in a litecoin mining farm (each running dual 7970s or R90's) for about 12 months straight. Not one ever died, and all were sold on ebay in the end with warranties intact and customers happy.

Actually, not all. I'm still running one in my build now that was a litecoin miner, and it's over 18 months old now. o_O
