The RPi foundation provided some performance metrics for the new network interfaces.
Wired speeds will hit 315Mbps up/down and on 5GHz Wi-Fi you'll get 102Mbps up/down under ideal circumstances.

- Dual-band 802.11ac wireless LAN and Bluetooth 4.2
- Faster Ethernet (Gigabit Ethernet over USB 2.0)

- Improved PXE network and USB mass-storage booting
