Max-Q BGA chip failed. Replacement required. Mobile instead of Max-Q it will work?

If its the same socket size. You might need to flash mobile SKU VBIOS, risky business on laptops.

BGA on the Motherboard, or PCI-e mobile Graphics?
I wouldn't want the cost of a BGA chip and reballing.
And then there are white lists to consider, vBios etc.

BGA on the Motherboard, or PCI-e mobile Graphics?

BGA on the Motherboard. (N18E-G1 -bga)
the socket size is the same, the difference in power consumption and core frequencies
