Hello, so fresh installation of Window's 10 pro, v 2H20;

MSI gaming edge wifi X570
Ryzen 5600x CPU, Crucial 8GBx2 DDR4-3600 Cas 16
Intel 660p 512 GB SSD

The system won't detect the GPU, we get post and can load windows, but doing anything with 3d acceleration fails horribly. When we try to load a new driver we start to get screen flickering to the point of un-usability. We've tried different monitors, different cables. Even torched the whole OS trying to prove that it wasn't anything in the system. Thoughts? We also ran DDU to clean up any old driver attempts, then reload the driver from Gigabytes website. No luck there.

Flickering/artifacting once the drivers are installed is usually the hallmark of a dead/dying GPU. I'd return it.

I did have a somewhat similar issue once, the screen would go black intermittently though it wasn't exactly a flicker it was sort of random. The problem was related to the version of Windows that I was using.

Hardware dead/failing on arrival unfortunately happens no matter of brand and price range. Your case is one of these. Even LinusMediaGroup recently received from nvidia faulty 3060ti.

Not dead hardware, bug with RTX 3070 series and PCIe 4.0 .. we hard set PCIe 3.0 in bios and suddenly all is well.
