I mean, it's a fine card at a bad price but that is par for the course this generation. The problem I see with this card is what has been mentioned by other tech journalists in that the cards MSRP is probably not going to be hit by many cards since there are no 'Founders Edition' cards and most of the ones that have been listed are around $850 meaning that's most likely going to be where the card sits or higher. That is going to hurt its value when comparing to the more powerful RX 7900 XT which can be had at its MSRP and even a few aftermarket OC variants at that price point (Looking at the XFX Merc 310 7900 XT).
Still, at the end I don't like the value of any card this generation. I think they are all way above what they should be.
