Seems about right the 9900K baseclock is 3.6 it never goes that low ever unless you stick a $20 cooler on it. intel only uses them to define TDP anyway lol.

I agree thought the 10600KF is by far the most interesting chip just a shame it took intel 3 years to release the 8700k at a more affordable price.

Then it means there would be quite low sales for Intel, around 12-13% of the overall. And likely falling even further.

I wouldn’t be too quick to dismiss Intel like that. These parts will perform well, probably a little on the hotter side. And even if they were they exact same as 9th gen, Intel can still move parts on brand name alone.

While Intel's 14nm process has been the bees knees it does not take away from the fact that it is the same 14nm process and once again {much less with enough skus to confuse any newb) . Intel may have (in regular times) 3 months anyway, before AMD's next CPUs.
