Hey folks,

I just got a Gigabyte GTX 980 G1 for Christmas and it is awesome! Now I'm stuck with 2 GTX 760 Windforce cards that I was running in SLI. Would it help at all to put one of the 760s back in and run both cards in a non SLI setup?

Aside from taking the load of PhysX which is not much to be honest, would there be any worthwhile benefit?

I suppose you could run a game on each one?

Haha I suppose. DayZ on the 760 and BF4 on the 980 lol.

But seriously I don't think there's any good reason to do this as it will just suck up power but that's why I'm here asking.

So what say you PC gurus?

Cheers and thanks

Unless youre goin for physx. Id say no, if you do the 760 is a lil too much for the task of that.

Only if you're interested in FAH, or some other CUDA application that could use it.

Thanks guys,

So as suspected, it looks like I'll be selling both cards on Kijiji. Less than a year old!!! Get me while they're hot lol.
