Its freazes when bios recognizes usb keyboard, moause when i remove it it crashes on AHCI says select proper boot device when i change back to IDE and firs boot device my os drive 750 EVO then Windows 7 loading screan crashes.

There is some serous asus bios motherboard problem.

Now i will try Linux Mint, instaling Windows 7 on my old HDD or resoldering old motherboard.

This card Gigabyte RX 460 4Gb cost me 130 euro plus HDMI to VGA adapter 20 i can not send it back to the shop.

I can try to sell it for you. I need mony back.

Update BIOS.
Search in BIOS for Legacy Support.

Usually RX Series tend to cause issues when mobo does not have UEFI BIOS but it can be solved by updates and Legacy mode since "unofficially" RX Cards support run in Legacy mode.

why you relate it with soldering old board?
If Asus will not work i go back to old oem motherboar if i manage to solder one condensator.

Update BIOS.
Search in BIOS for Legacy Support.

To me it sounds like you bought a junk motherboard to begin with that was already broken. Try the card in the oem system or send the card back.

By the way your motherboard hasn't been supported since 2010 as there haven't been any bios updates since. Uefi cards really came about in 2013. So it's your fault for buying a cheap board to begin with, not Asus.

Sounds like more than a BIOS issue? What does the issues with your junk board have to do with Asus BIOS?

Dorset where else eh? >>> Thats ENGLAND<<<
Plain and simple
Motherboard and graphics card not fully compatible
Older motherboards sometimes not compatible with latest cards

Asus haw shity bios it supposed to fix everyithing automacaly.

:roll::roll::roll::roll:
Bios updates are to upgrade/fix problems its not Designed to Automaticly fix everything
Problems are Reported / noted by Asus then software Engineers /programers code an update/fix this is then released
your Bios not been updated since since 2010 as there haven't been any bios updates since its not a suprise your having problems

Hi Readlight,

Out of curiosity does that card happen to have a bios select switch?
I have a Radeon card with a bios select switch on the card and one card bios is UEFI the other is legacy.
Could using the legacy video card bios instead solve the issue?

Also be sure to disable the chipset graphics and set the primary graphics interface to PCIE in the mainboard bios settings. The HD4200 uses system Ram and may or may not have some dedicated graphics RAM soldered to the mainboard itself. How is the integrity of the system RAM? That`s a whole lot of DMA going on right there...

It does not haw bios swich its some new gigabyte model REV1.1
Not so much tested but keyboard only works when its set on onboard then push in gpu and then there is sourround wiev optin (turn on and then windows loads) which is for swiching videocardz.
Now its somehow on pcie, sourround outomatic.
And internal gpu still alocates ddr2 i can lower it.
Mybe ther is some error when windows loads, cards fan is acting weird.
asus and gigabyte do not answer like usual.

Well start saving then. Sell the motherboard, get a 970 based unit at the least.
