Hey guys, I got a new system except the graphics card for obvious reasons....
i5-12600k
Gigabyte Z690 UD DDR4
16gb G. Skill 3200
Sea Sonic Prime 650w
m.2 500GB drive
Sapphire RX 580 Pulse 4GB Hynix memory
Did a test bench without the card just to try the new components before putting everything in the case and all was great and detected.
After putting everything together and turning on the PC for the first time all I got was a black screen when using the rx580 for the first time with the new stuff (which worked just the day before on my 10+ year old MB and CPU)
Switched my cable back to integrated so I could install OS, also I installed AMD driver while using the integrated and it detected my card which was still in the slot.
After that I turned the PC off switched back to my GPU and now it boots directly into desktop, no chance to get into bios, monitor stays on standby and turns on at desktop while the VGA light on my MB is always on but everything works even hours of gaming and benchmarks....
Here is the bios of my GPU that I uploaded using GPU-Z and the attachment of GPU-Z screenshot.
It says "Warning: You are viewing an unverified BIOS file." and It's not in the database even though I think one of the 2 bios on the site for my card is the same, which is this one right?
Do you think a bios flash could fix this or something else?
Tried DVI-D, HDMI and DP to DVI adapter cables, same results. CSM is disabled and and secure boot is on if I remember correctly, been some time since I saw my bios...
One guy managed to fix this by installing some bios fix from nvidia for 10 series cards, same problem as mine but there is no such thing from amd.
Also here is a video, you can see the switching MB led lights from CPU to RAM and then stuck at the VGA led and the turning on and off of my keyboard and mouse more then once....
Thanks for any help...
