Hi everyone, I need help with my AORUS RX 580 8GB. I tried flashing a modified BIOS to remove the mining lock/antiflash, but I got an error during the process. After restarting my PC, I now have:

  • No display output
  • Fans spinning on GPU and PC
  • Keyboard, mouse, and peripherals not working
  • No integrated graphics or second GPU slot on my motherboard
So far, I have tried:

  1. Resetting the CMOS by removing the motherboard battery (no change).
  2. Checking if my motherboard has a dual BIOS switch (it does not).
I don’t have another GPU or a second PCIe slot, so I can’t use a different GPU to reflash it.

What should I try next? Any help would be appreciated!

but I got an error during the process.
Sounds like you need another VBIOS chip. I suspect a bad block on the VBIOS chip.

If it wasn't a bad VBIOS chip, then it likely would look like it was successful, then be dead on reboot.

Its been a week plus, and this 1 doesn't have the necessary tools to fix the problem.
