Yes, it was my missprint. It-s 04D2
I mean, that-s the bios I supposedly need. What worries me is the warning

First and for most start with White Sticker Pics from the back of the card, and is your monitor running off that card?

Why pic? Is it different from the data provided by the program GPU-Z? Tomorrow I'll take that picture.
What I wanted to know is just how trustworthy that Bios can be, because of the warning.

The monitor works flawlessly. I had an MSI GTX960 since August 2015, and some months ago a friend upgraded his gpu and gave me this RX580. Since the begining, with the RX the monitor showed directly the windows logo (No POST), but I didn't care much because I didn't need to check anything in the Bios. But now I put a second M2 SSD and Windows doesn't recognize it, so I wanted to verify if the board is detecting it or not.

Then, I found this thread, where nandexxx was having the exactly same issue I was suffering, and he got it solved, so I just wanted to try the same. The difference is that the Bios archive shows that warning message, and what I would like to know is if it's something you can ignore, or it's better to not try flashing the card with this Bios.

Im asking so I know what specific gpu you have.

On its own is the 580 working with a monitor hooked up to it directly?

I have been helping people restore their gpus since 2017

Here are the pics
It took some time because here's UTC +2 so it was too late last night.
The card works fine. The only problem is that doesn't supply any image before windows logo (so no Bios POST img)

Thx for info, will research your card

Your card 1360 Stock, 1380 OC, 2000 Ram.

Will look at bios files

These are the only 2 bios that match your 1002 67DF 1043 04D2

2018 05 18

Both are Micron HFB ram.

Let me look at other Dual OC bios and see if there are any newer than 2018.

Unfortunately 2018 01 07 is the alternative bios

I don't have the tools to do any bios mods but I'm sure @impero or @Final_Fighter may be able to take a 2019/2020/2021 bios from 1 of the links above and drop the Micron HFB memory data+timings into them.

Use this guide for flashing.

Get the tool by following the directions in this link.

Thank you very much.
Do you think it-s too risky using the Bios from the link? (https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/223505/223505)
As far as I could understand, nandexxx problem was solved just reinstalling the original Bios.

Well not really, Give it a shot, there are plenty of files and if you need a modded bios, you can check back for replies from impero and final fighter.

Just make sure you have a backup plan such as a Spare gpu, Core i cpu or AMD APU

Typically Mining bios have weird clock speeds

Hello!

I know I come late, but I'm suffering the same sorrow nandexxx had to go through. Fortunately, it seems that this solution worked for him, but in my case, my card has the "1002 67DF" ID and the "1043 03D2" Subsystem ID, and when I go to techpowerup's Bios Collection, it shows a "Warning: You are viewing an unverified BIOS file" message (https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/223505/223505).

Is this safe?
It means it was uploaded by a user, and hasn't been verified as an original BIOS (could be modified)

Try and find a matching genuine BIOS for your card, but if you cant, you can try that unverified one - as always, the risk is yours and make sure you have a recovery method (another GPU/IGP) and the current BIOS backed up.

Ah, found some relevant information:

When people mod a BIOS for AMD cards, it would break UEFI support. (I'm trying to find the source link to see what series this affected, but it definitely affected 400 and 500 series cards)

That's why a lot of mining cards, or even cards overclocked or crossflashed by users are showing problems with it now that UEFI is needed for windows 11
A straight crossflash would be fine, but people would unlock shaders while keeping factory clock speeds, and those BIOS would have broken UEFI

So stick to official ones if possible, any unverified ones could have broken UEFI code

Thats why I check for uefi support on each file. If it aint there I skip it, I try to provide the latest file possible due to bug fixes.

I've seen some that claimed UEFI in GPU-Z but didnt work in reality - that's why i suggest caution with unverified files. Some methods to mod them may break UEFI, but still appear to have it available

seen that firsthand and posted about it - my theory was that someone or something had altered the BIOS in the past (it was second hand)

After the third time of seeing it (470, 570 and 580) I've just assumed that some stock BIOS are faulty or it was WAY more common to mod the BIOS than I assumed (Crossflashing and unlocking shaders was pretty big for a while there)

Hi again,

I've been out for the last weeks so I couldn't try the solution you gave me until today.

Everything went OK with flashing the vBios, but I still can't see the POST image and I'm only shown directly the Windows session start screen.

Truth be told, I can't find any Bios who makes a perfect match with mine out of those "Untested" ones (The ones with the "warning" msg).

Any idea where I can get one? It's being annoying as hell not being able to get in the MoBo's Bios to chekc what's up with that NVMe.

Untested means it was uploaded by a user from TPU, and its possible that may be all you can find.
It's just possible they've been modified, but that very modification could have the fix you're after

Just make sure it actually matches the GPU, shader counts, memory type etc

If you want me to I could give it a shot but I do require your actual BIOS
