Ryzen 1600AF Driver disabled in device manager?

So I just opened up device manager for a completely unrelated reason to why I am posting and found the yellow triangle icon next to my Processors> AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Six-Core Processor, section, see screenshot, I can't say I have ever seen this before and in fact have probably been into device manager only a few days ago and didn't notice this then either, I tried the Update Driver, and search Windows update for drivers but it says I have the latest/best one installed. I have installed the Ryzen chipset drivers prior to this, maybe a month or 2 back it was installed fresh followed by the latest WHQL drivers for my GPU, any ideas on why it is showing like this in device manager?

I mean you’ve done everything I would do as far trying drivers etc. Try removing it and rescan?

I've downloaded the latest chipset drivers and WHQL Radeon drivers, I plan to use DDU to uninstall everything AMD then install the chipset drivers followed by the GPU drivers, however I did come across this article relating to the same issue and the advice was to click on each instance of the processor cores in device manager and click on update driver, then browse for the driver on my computer and choose the AMD processor driver which will showup, lo and behold this works, so doing this 12 times, they now appear normally in device manager, though I'm not sure how much of a "fix" that really is and I'm going to reboot and see how everything looks in device manager and in all likelihood I will still do a DDU and reinstall of both the chipset and GPU drivers

There’s a bundled in driver with Windows that it should default install during the first boot up hardware detection. There’s a Intel, and AMD CPU driver. I think the driver is amdppm.sys.

My issue isn't really with the driver, cause the standard processor/CPU driver from MS which has been present in Windows for probably 20+ years pretty much does all you need of it at least when it comes to the CPU, same as the basic VGA/display driver, I'm more curious as to why it suddenly changed and it's not something I have seen before, no major system changes have been made in the last week or so

I am still going to DDU all of my AMD drivers and start with the chipset followed by the GPU driver installs and see how I get on, just for peace of mind

If the computer is running fine otherwise. I would just leave it and wait.

There are reports of a recent Windows Update causing problems with drivers. While the reports don't address your issue exactly, the timing is suspicious. MS will soon release a fix for the fix and may just clear up your issue too.
