Ryzen 1600X clocks down after awaking from sleep mode Windows 10.

My Asus software underclocks my CPU after a sleep state. I have all the eco settings turned off...
I will look in my BIOS for something I may be missing..Anyone else have this problem?
I try to load my 4ghz profile but it sticks to the 100mhz x 22 until I restart....

Back to old days about 8 years ago i had dual core athlon and crossfire radeon HD 3870x2
after sleep mode pc was barely useful and it needed restart to work properly
Seems that old weakness is still present while amd developers have no time for "small bugs" while chasing first place...

deal with it or disable sleep / hibernate or buy intel + nvidia

I'd honestly ditch the Asus software thing , all of these kinds applications from all the manufacturers have crap that glitches out. For me a similar utility from AsRock would make the clocks to never go below 2.5ghz at all times for no apparent reason.

Rules for a better running system, install OS, Service Packs, Updates (cross reference updates with askwoody.com), Then drivers.

There was something about using AMD clean install tool that would remove a board driver or two, this only happens when you update video drivers.

Also, its the BIOS up to date or using a Beta BIOS?

It's probably not downclocked and the result of Win10 doing it's thing with the clockgen deal. I can't remember what it's called.

Really? That is interesting..I can't remember if I did a clean install or not.. (I probably did with all the new stuff..)
I am using the beta BIOS I believe.

i noticed that too:
your cpu speed is slower and your benches are weaker after sleep
while this guy has better speed and benches score after sleep
assuming that if you run stopwatch on your pc - after sleep it will run faster than actual time

Edit:
If one chip is performing slower after sleep and if other chip performing faster after sleep , there must be way for AMD to find how to neutralize those two values and make new gen of Ryzens (or other name?) that will after sleep still perform as they did before sleep

If you have the new AGEIS bios, this is supposedly fixed (the higher overclock). Is it possible that they didn't actually fix it and now it's "lower". Only way to tell is to run a timer on your phone and on the pc at the same time to see if they sync after sleep. That will tell quickly if there's a problem or not.
