Ryzen 2700x + Radeon R9 380 - keep old psu or buy new one?

Recently i upgraded my pc and now it has ryzen 2700x bundled with r9 380. I'm wondering if i should replace psu or keep old one. My current psu is ocz zs550 which is 5-6 years old bronze rated psu. New psu i take into consideration is seasonic focus plus 650W platinum (SSR-650PX).

That PSU came with a 3 year warranty. It's done it's job, time to retire it.

+ New Warranty
+ Fully modular
+ Less electricity consumed at the wall
+ Cooler temperature in case
+ 100 watts additional headroom

I would consider getting the Seasonic Focus Plus 650 Gold SSR-650FX if you are on the fence. It tends to be $20 cheaper. Though I have found Platinum is nice for very small cases because they generate very little extra heat. If you sell the old unit you can probably get back about $30.

Another power supply to consider is the EVGA Supernova 650 G3 (not the lesser GQ model).

I do not care much/at all about modularity or lack of it in psu. I'm considering this specific psu because that's the cheapest platinum rated psu i was able to find and seems to be decent. I'm aiming at platinum rate psus. It may sound a bit awkward but i think if i would do a jump from bronze it should be platinum. After this i'm totally going to sell ocz as i do not need extra supplies lying around.

EVGA supernova looks good and is cheaper than that seasonic but it is "just" gold and i'm aiming towards platinum. To be honest i started this thread to see if i will see any answers telling anything against this particular seasonic unit.

I think the Prime and Focus Plus Platinum are pretty similar the main difference is the warranty and the fan. You could also look into the EVGA SuperNova 650 or 850 P2, they are often around $100 and are as just as good as the Seasonic but with a longer warranty IIRC. You should run these things with the fan on don't bother with the Eco mode, you don't even hear the fan anyway and a lot of the reviews seem to indicate not running the fan overheats the unit.

I and my family own a Seasonic 660 XP2, Seasonic 550 Focus Plus Gold, EVGA SuperNova 650 P2, they are all good units.
