Hi guys,
So now we have much more details on the Zen2 and Ryzen 3 CPU's I've decided to formulate my new build (I know my old thread was very painful for you guys and I understand that so fresh start since it's a fresh rig)
I already have some parts that I'll port over from my current Rig listed below, I won't be changing the GPU's for now.
Current Parts
Seasonic Prime Ultra 1300w
Sapphire Vega64 Nitro + (x2 cards)
2x Bykski GPU Waterblocks
Corsair 1000D case
Proposed Parts
CPU - Ryzen 3950X or 3900X, probably wait for the 3950X
Mobo - Asus X570 (thinking Crosshair VIII Formula)
Storage - 2x PCI 4.0 NVME drives (2TB each) (thinking Corsair MP600 & 2x Sata 6GB/s WD Black (4TB)
The NVME will be in Raid, with OS and games installed, the HDD's will be Raid for local storage, Movies, ISO's and other files. - I have a server for backup
Watercooling - Standard EK equipment, Hard piping, Decent D5 Pump & Res, 2x EK Coolstream XE 480s.
RAM - 32/64GB (not decided) Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200
I'll be cooling the CPU (and aiming for a modest OC) two GPU's and the board (since it comes with built in VRM waterblock.
Storage, I am open to suggestions on both, I'd like to take the advantage of PCI 4.0 NVME storage Happy to swap brands to any recommend but understand it's new tech so untested, (happy to take a chance)
Any recommendations on changes here on the parts I'm planning for. Usage is high end gaming, some CAD, some Photoshop/Video Editing (Adobe Suite) and Benchmarking, (Hoping to get some good benches from it)
As you can tell I have particular brands I like, Corsair & Asus.
