Safe 45nm voltage?

Just needing confirmation and assurance: What is a safe max 45nm voltage? 1.37v? I've been playing around with the chip again and trying to push a higher 24.7.

Well Intel and Amd both recommend less but I think you should be safe with anything less then 1.4

Thank you again panther. I have been testing and found that this chip can do 4Ghz 1.34v ,4.1Ghz 1.37v or 4.2Ghz 1.41v. Just trying to figure out what would be best.

Your e5200 is so much better then the one I got man XD

It's mainly the board choice bro and it's an R0 stepping. Oh and take a peak at the screenshot. NB is at 1.2v, ram 1.8v, FSB Term/HT Link 1.27v.

That's in a hot apt. Feels like 75F in here. Oh and max temp is Linx load. When gaming it never runs over 45C.

i ran my e8200 f@h for months last year 4.2ghz@1.42v and it did nothing to it.

It's not as if I have a bad board, just not as good as yours <_<

Cheers for the voltage info I'll give it a try, doubt it will work though, think running 1.79 volts through it buggered the chip up somewhat >_>

i read somewhere that e5x00 can take max of 1.45v according to intel datasheet??
(i know the website says 1.3625v)

EDIT: e5200 MO did 3.75ghz 1.4v e5300 RO did 4ghz 1.4v

No luck JR, I can have 3ghz @ 1.25 volts anything over 3ghz and my processor pulls a sad face and either refuses to boot or sets its multi to x6.

I would never go above 1.4V and 70C. Anything below that should be fine for 24/7 use though.

45* load is childs play jr. I benched a few 45nm at 1.6v and it made the tubes of my water cooling warm to the touch...ran a few at 1.45V 24/7 tho. dont be so worried as long as temps are ok with you.
