Safe Motherboard Temp?

Hi guys im just wondering since my motherboard is reaching temp of 38c while gaming and im wondering if that is bad or good. These temps are from my other rig which has a p5ql-se asus motherboard. All answers greatly appreciated:):)

You shaw you got that correct ? 38c is luke warm ! The chipset sink on your mobo has no fan so i would check out how hot thats getting? Just touch it.

Before i fitted a small fan to my msi p43 neo northbridge sink it was like burning hot.

Just buy a small fan & bodge it on some how ;)

Yeh im pretty sure since im using everest pro and the temps of my gpu/cpu go along with the rest of the rig...but just making sure about this mobo because i usually use gigabyte motherboards..but i will open my case now and giv the mobo a touch to see how how it is

I know have 39 and dont care one bit!!!

Nice dude...Ive been overclocking my e7400 in this rig..i have the same proc in my main rig its beast for oc..im gonna try get both to 3.4ghz/3.6ghz but with a new cooler:) Haha e8400 is tannk

I wouldnt bother with E8400 if its for that Asus p5ql-se mobo ! The P43 chipset has a max FSB around 1600mhz meaning you wont be able to overclock a E8400 by a great deal. The E8400 has a default fsb of 1333mhz so you would hit the mobo's FSB wall at around 3.6ghz.

You'll most prob get higher core speeds sticking with your E7400 as its default fsb is 1066.
