Safe temp for my new I5-12400

got new i5-12400 cpu and motherboard today , just wonder if these are safe temps with a stock cooler , ill upgrade to better cooler in the future , but want to be safe and see if I'm fine with these temps, pic below has idle temps , and just download and searching the net , and underload gaming temp ,label in pc

These temps are pretty good for a stock cooler actually! Those temperatures are absolutely safe to run at.

Yup thats totally safe, I was also using the stock cooler on my 12100F for like 1+ month before buying a better cooler and I had similar temps while gaming.
A simple sub 40 $ 4 heat pipe tower cooler droped my temps to 50-55 celsius in most games while being virtually silent so you don't even have to spend much. :)

yeah nice , thats the way , broke after buying the motherboard and cpu lol have propley wait a month too before get new cooler

hay guys got aoi cooler , all cpu temps are great now , but what's pch temp , on 40 at the moment , but goes up to 60 when gaming , pic of pch temp below

PCH is "Platform controller hub" it's the chipset of the motherboard, if diode temp is below 80 degrees then absolutely nothing to worry about.

I know this thread is old haha but my i5 12400 with the stock cooler, the lowest temp it went was a staggering 26c. yes TWENTY SIX. The highest i've ever seen it go is like 80c 100% usage when loading minecraft:laugh:, but that's because it was summer and like 41c here so yeah. But still, 26c idle temp is fantastic. I cannot wait for the 5c outside weather, the CPU will defo go to like 15
