Hers something that some might find interesting/useful. There are some Samsung low profile 1333 sticks that will do 2400@1.58v

http://www.overclock.net/t/1210482/samsung-2x4gb-low-voltage-ddr3-1600-kit-ocing-to-2400-discussion

These are the sticks-
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-017-SA

Good, XS thread, seems they might do 2800 :O
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?277635-Ultra-low-profile-1.35v-30nm-DDR3-capable-of-2400MHz.-Perfect-for-SFF-builds./page2&

I just looked, my samsung ram has the HCH9 chips they are on about, i just went in my bios and set mine to 1600. My timings are at 10.10.10, but if i look in that thread I may be able to tweak them down.

I wonder if they will do more.

Sorry for all the edits.

It's at 8.10.9 now at 1649

Must be pretty good ram.

Yes, they are wonder sticks lol. LaugunaX make a thread about them a while go and there was lots of talk about how great they are.

I run them in both of my rigs. I never got higher than 2133 but I think it was more limited by cpu/mobo. But I've been very pleased with them, never looked back.

They were super cheaper when I got them, like $44/8gb.

That was an epic thread that went on or quite a while.

Cadaveca wrote a formal tpu review on the ram also.

I'll check when I get home. I ran them at 2133 with 8gb, then 1866 with 16gb. After I took out 8gb for my other pc, I left the 8gb at 1866 but at the same timings. I got a lot out of them though, great stuff.

I tried to get 2400 on my p67 but it wouldn't boot no matter what the timings or voltage. :(

Got lucky with these, i bought them for £30 from CEX, 2x4gb kit.

Definatly happy with these.

I think I had gotten lower with 1866 before when I first got and pushed them.. Let me take a look and see if I saved any ss's on them..... These have been running strong at these timings for the past like 5 months at least. I'll check voltage next time I reboot

edit:
Here a ss of 8gb 8-9-9-24-1T 1866 in June 2012

Here's 2133 9-10-10-28-1T also June 2012

I dont recall what voltage I used for that, but I don't think I ever went over 1.6v

I was just looking through the other thread, and I found an old post here of mine saying that I got 9-10-10-28-1T 2133 at 1.512v, but no ss to prove it.

I'm off to check what voltage i'm at now on 1866....brb

edit:
currently dram voltage is 1.45v, 9-9-9-24-1T 1866

Nice ram, was a good buy. Mine are at 8/10/9/25 1.52v 1866. That's good enough for me for what I thought was just normal 1333 ram.

I bought this ram after holding out for Daves review. Always ran em at 2133 but after reading this thread I went into the bios and set them at 2400mhz 1.530v. I'm currently 1 hour 10 minutes into Aida64. Timings I left on automatic in bios, 11-16-16-36 1t. I will try and lower them after I have run prime95 for a couple of hours.

Can't boot at 2800mhz, 1.580v.

Also got stick with these chips on em. Managed to get them for 18 euros per 4GB back when they didn't have much of a reputation(threads were just starting to show up) and prices of RAM were still generally low. One of my best hardware buys evaaah =D

Yep, great sticks, as everyone has mentioned. I was testing a motherboard when you sent me that STEAM message, sorry I didn't get back to you right away, but if you see me "playing" F1 2010, Shogun2, then Metro:LL, that's what I'm doing, quick games tests for reviews.

All the info you need for clocking these DIMMS is in the linked threads above, just be sure to adjust secondary timings manually as you clock the sticks up, and that'll help you get more out of them. You can take a look at the MemTweakIt screenshots from my review for an idea of what to set.

Yes they are amazing. I have several that I gathered last year but just recently started to bin them.

Conclusion.. they all overclocked the same. :rockout:
