I installed the ssd in my computer 2 days ago. When I boot from my hdd I can overclock to 860mhz(Hd 6950) without any artifacts in game or in windows 7. Although when I boot from my ssd(samsung 840) and attempt to overclock to 860 the screen gets glitchy and I have to restart. Are ssd's known not to work well with amd gpu's?

The only logical explanation if here is a lack of power, tho ssd shouldn't draw enough to make a difference.
I don't see how the ssd could affect your gfx card unless you changed drivers if your reloaded your OS to the ssd .

It must be a software problem, as there shouldn't be any such thing as hardware incompatibility between ssd and gpu.
Probably the windows install on the ssd is corrupted somehow, or problem with graphics drivers on that install.
