First off, those names are dumb. What marketing genious thought of them? So confusing!

Second, I do like the design of the Level Box but at $299 it is $100 more than the best in class Bose and IOGear.

Uhh... what are you talking about? These are one of the most straight-forward named audio products.

Level Over = Over-ear
Level On = On-ear
Level In = In-ear
Level Box = Boom(box)

I love me some good-quality over-ear wireless headphones, which it's worth mentioning there are not nearly enough, but what exactly makes these worth $400 versus something from Sony or the like?

I want to like Samsung, but they seem increasingly trending in the Apple/Beats direction of supremely overpriced versus lesser-brand competition, with the bom spent on bling/style and not on things actually important to their consumers...you know, like current high-end components and useful technology. That would be fine if they had a similar following as Apple, but they don't. The requisite car analogy I would put in place (for Korean vs. USA/Japan) is that while Hyundai may not need to be a bargain brand any longer (China is the new S Korea in terms of market trust, but SK is not yet Japan/USA), I still need a tangible reason to purchase them over a Honda/Toyota or more accessible American brand; the name alone does not instill the essence of guaranteed quality, performance, or gravitas.

It's worth mentioning these use 50mm drivers, which (knowing nothing else) sounds nice, but no mention of aptx (or anything proprietary to replace it), which is not only a bummer and somewhat disconcerting (not to say they still don't sound nice), but highly strange considering aptx support is a major differentiation factor of their mobile devices.

Right hand, meet left. Say hello. If they could kindly get their crap together and/or kindly bring their prices back to Earth, that would be fabulous.
