I want to purchess the Sapphire X800 Fireblade card for my setup but iam wondering is the card really worth buying i have an HIS X700 pro 400mhz Core 500mhz mem (250mhz) i can only get a maxium overclock of 30mhz in the core! Will I notice any gain while playing games such as F.E.A.R?

(Ps this card sucks X700 only has DDR1 Mem if i over clock even by 10mhz in the mem the card fails!)

    My Rig:

    Sempron 3000+ 1.8ghz:eek:
    ASUS K8N4-E DELUXE:nutkick:
    1GB DDR 3200:shadedshu (value ram)
    200GB IDE HD
    HIS X700 Pro:laugh:

I know that the X700s dont run too well with FEAR...How much are the X800s going for these days? and how much are you willing to spend? I suggest making a better investment and spending a lot of money on a good card then getting one that is already kinda outdated. Also, it wouldnt be worth the upgrade unless you at least get the x800 xl.

I apologize I was thinking of the fire blade. It is a nice card. Would def. help with FEAR. However, in some areas I even lag in FEAR. I found out that FEAR requires 2 GB of RAM to run at higher resolutions so thats the reason it is lagging a little for me. Dunno if it is the same reason for you, but just as an FYI
