Sapphire HD4850 Noise Issue

Hi to all, I'm new! :toast:
Starting knowing that I'm italian and I didn't have a very good english i want to ask yours for support with my problem.

Here's the problem: Today (after 2 years of owning my video card), I've bought a little upgrade for my system:
Western Digital 1TB WD1002FAEX 7200rpm 64MB Black
SCYTHE Mugen 2 Rev.B AM3/AM2+/754/939/478/775/1366/1156
Arctic Cooling Accelero Twin Turbo Pro

I've installed everything, and when in point to test the new performances i've noticed a annoying problem: every time i run a game or a 3D render the speakers emit an noise that change in intensity with the framerate.

I know that the Video Card normaly emit similiar sound (specialy at high fps), but this sound normaly didn't travel to speakers!

I've tried to:
Test external sound card (logitech g35) -> no noise
Test another speaker system -> noise
Flash different bios
downclock gpu

So i guess that the GPU interferes with analog connector, and i hope that isn't motherboard the problem.

Tomorrow i will disassemble the entire system and reassembly, even i've mounted bad something and short circuited something (i had to disassemble the entire system to install the mugen!)

Here's my system config:
CASE: Haf 932
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 BE
MOBO: Gigabyte AM3 GA-790FXTA-UD5
GPU: Ati Sapphire HD4850 Dual Slot Heatsink 512MB GDDR3
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws 4GB CL7 1600Mhz
PSU: CoolerMaster Silent Pro M600
MONITOR: Asus VW222U

Apologies for my terrifing english! ;)

You checked the caps on the v card ?. They can squeal some times when there gone bad but there is another noise some cards make which is normal.

Mine does it time to time and it is like a squeal kinda sound.

i get same sorta of noise with my evga 9600gt while running a game or benchmark, i wouldn't worry about it, unless its overheating or there's a performance hit, if so then rma it

I think he means his video card is fine, its just causing some electromagnetic interference to the speakers causing the sounds.

The Accelero is a pretty big cooler, check if its touching anything on the Mobo, and if you can put the stock cooler back on.
Intergrated audio chips are usually pretty close to the PCIe slots. It could be why its fine with the 8400GS because its such a small card.

I've tested back the stock cooler and still same problem, i think i have scratched something installing the accelero, soon i will 100% clean the pcb, and if the problem persist i sold this video card to buy another one.

P.s.: Thinking about the problem, i remembered that (99% sure) the problem started after installing the aftermarket cooler.

Are the fans for the Twin Turbo Pro running off the GPU connector?

I also have a Sapphire HD4850 but with the original AC Twin Turbo and have had no problems.

I have used the GPU fan connector and edited the fan profile in RBE so the fans would would without software.
No squealing sound coming out from my speakers.

I would suggest replacing the original heatsink and see what happens.
The squeal from the speakers are most probably linked to the fans on the AC Twin Turbo Pro.
Some how the fan speed most probably increases the pitch of the sound from your speakers due to voltage change.
