Sapphire Nitro+ RX580 4GB 11265-08-20G - original silent bios

Hopefully someone can help me out with the following: I'm using a second hand GPU and had black screens during boot until Windows was loaded. This is a full UEFI setup, so no legacy/CSM. Upon switching the VBIOS selector on the card from "silent" to "performance", the issue was resolved (POST was visible again) so I presume the previous owner flashed some quirky VBIOS.

I want to restore the original "silent" VBIOS and requested it at Sapphire. They returned me the VBIOS (cryptic filename 366Y050U.S4J) I already had on "performance" mode, saying that both modes use the same vbios...this strikes me as odd, what's the point of labeling the two modes as "silent" and "performance" if they use identical settings?
  1. Should both modes have the same VBIOS and do they get their silent/performance instructions from elsewhere (other than the VBIOS)?
  2. Is the VBIOS I have on "performance" really the original "performance" VBIOS?
  3. Does anyone have the original (or a appropriate) "silent" VBIOS for this card that is UEFI proof?
Reports about the two modes and the firmwares can be found attached to this post. Info according to the sticker on the card:
P/N: 299-1E366-301SA
SKU: 11265-08-20G
Memory: Elpida/Hynix

Thanks in advance.

Sapphire knows best.

Some RX 580 cards came with identical BIOS for both silent and performance modes. 366Y050U.S4J is UEFI-supported.

If you want performance BIOS like the other Nitro+ cards:

I've flashed the original Sapphire rom to the "silent" mode and got visible POST report again during UEFI boot. I've flashed the supplied bios with 1411mhz clock to "performance" mode: UEFI is ok and got some performance improvement as a bonus...gonna keep this setup. Thanks a bunch @Regeneration!
