I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on why I have two different GPU clock & Default clock speeds. I had an issue the other day when my computer wouldn't wake up from sleep mode, I then realized that the video card had no output to monitor. I slid the bios switch on the card from forward to back and then restarted the computer and it worked like a charm. I ran GPU-Z and noticed that depending on which side the switch was on, the clock speeds were different. I've attached two pictures of both bios settings. Note the clock speed on the one setting. GPU 1340 and Default 1411 clock speed. The other setting has them both at 1411 clock speeds. Just seems odd. I know the card has quiet setting and gaming setting for the fans. Is this the reason for the difference?
Thanks

Hello
You card is equipped with DUAL BIOS switch.
Basically you have 2 BIOS chips soldered on your card, and you have a physical switch that allows you to switch between those 2 types of BIOS : silent and performance.
Users are able to switch between two modes – quiet and performance.
The quiet mode has a lower clock rate and allows to optimize the fan curve settings so that the card’s noise is minimal.
The performance mode prioritizes performance thanks to higher clock speeds that increase your in-game framerate, but may cause the card to be louder.

Thanks for clearing that up. I appreciate it.

Currently you are hijacking a very old thread. To get support, first create a new thread with information about your card like part number and which memory.

If you dont want to disassemble your card, you can attach your working "cooling" bios to the new thread.
It will contain the information we need to locate the correct performance bios for you.

Hello.
In order to find an exact match for your card (i mean a BIOS file), we need to have some more info.
So we need to have some pictures:
1 - labels from the card(or box if you still have it)
2 - GPU-Z - main screen
3 - GPU-z - Advanced Tab > Dropdown menu and there you choose memory type
