Sapphire RX 580 Shows Different BIOS

Hello!

I bought a used GPU Card and the former owner said it was used for mining about 2-7 months (it's random picked GPU). I asked him to reset/flash the BIOS to the original BIOS before sending to me. After a few months of using this card, I found that there is a BIOS switch on the card (and it's switched to right positions) and then I switched it to the left position but I don't feel any difference. :D
So, I tried out to find the BIOS version of my card and it shows different result/version on BIOS Part Number between 3 software I use (Sapphire TRIXX, AMD Adrenaline, and Tech Power Up GPU-Z) as shown in the picture below

Screenshot (4)_LI.jpg

I mainly use my computer for editing (Resolve and Premiere) and sometimes use it for gaming (FM 2019 and Stronghold Crusader 2 (sometimes it's laggy/jittery I don't know why) just that)

Is it normal or not? I am afraid that it would be affecting my GPU performance & durability sooner or later.

Thank you very much :)

Take a picture of the white sticker with SKU and part number on it from back of card or on side of heatsink and get gpu-z and take a screenshot of it in the left position and right position, post all pictures here

Here they are:

GPU SKU (I hope the picture quality is clear enough)

BIOS LEFT POSITION

BIOS RIGHT POSITION

PLEASE TAKE INTO ACCOUNT

Yesterday, before I created this thread I took a screenshot from GPU-Z with the BIOS in the left position and shows a different result in the Bus Interface with the current one.

I've just switched the BIOS position three times and take a screenshot on each position just to make sure that everything is in a consistent result before I upload those pictures. And yes it is.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH

Sometimes when switching bios positions you need to restart but that 1340 bios is definitely overclocked, I will provide a 1411 and 1340 bios

If you are using any overclocking tools such as msi afterburner or amd overdrive, restore settings to defaults.

For your bios left switch position flash this bios.

Verify the card powers up correctly.

If monitor powers up and shows windows desktop after restarting you are ok, then proceed to flash the right bios position with the bios below.

Use this tool to flash.

I noticed these are unverified files. I had the same problem and the verified ones have different timings from what I can tell. Are these faster?

You should've started your own thread instead of bumping a year old one though the unverified files just haven't been tested and verified by tpu it doesn't mean they are not genuine, unless you have a specific problem with your current gpu related to the bios then you likely don't need to flash it for no reason

Because people will come in see the top post and reply to the op without realising it's a year old thread, it's just easier if you start one as sometimes it can be a bit more long winded than in your case and then you've got 2 pages of replies with 2 different posters and an op who hasn't replied in 12 months, also eidairaman who you quoted hasn't been active for months. Though congrats on the flash.

It happens, and sometimes it can be a 5 or more year old thread, unless you read the entire thread how do you know it has been solved, and it's easy to overlook the date. Though if you don't really care then i don't really care to keep trying to explain it to you. Best of luck anyway.
