Sata flash to internal usb

So I've been upgrading the laptop I got for school alot lately, and i've been looking into somehow installing my universal Logitech mouse receiver internally on the laptop so i don't fuck up the usb ports from sliding it in and out of my backpack

I think installing an entire new usb plug internally to the computer is out of the question, but there are two slots that aren't being used for anything inside, WWAN and SATA FLASH.

I know WWAN is probably out of the question, but would it be possible to plug a sata flash converter to usb then into the logitech receiver? i know sata flash is more of a storage idea than a controller port, but its what i got

also i saw someone else did something similar to this with a different port, but they had to edit the bios.

Nope, sata is for sata devices. the person you saw probably carried it on a laptop that had Mini-PCIEX slots - in any case it should work in the WWAN slot as that is Mini-PCIEX too. its just a case of finding the correct mini-PCIEx usb card that suits your needs if there is such a thing.
