Coming from Natural Selection 2 which is also an fps/rts this game looks like it is an RTS first, FPS second. Natural Selection 2 is an fps first, RTS second. The combat looks slow and unexciting in Savage, but that might be to its benefit. Natural Selection 2's movement mechanics are amazing but not easy to learn. Natural Selection 2 has had a history of low player retention, but has a small dedicated community that just refuses to leave. As one of those players, it is like I have had a bite of the golden apple and nothing else compares.

I am interested though.
