Not really crypto, but money related, so I thought it's worth posting here.
Story: I was watching YouTube a couple of hours ago, when an ad dropped. It was (seemingly) an interview that Bill Maher made with Elon Musk about his new AI investment fund that is infinitely more efficient than what humans could do, and earns you thousands of dollars in a matter of days.
I don't fall for such stuff, but it seemed like a cut from a genuine interview, so I clicked on the link which took me to the (seemingly) BBC website with a news article about Musk's new AI fund. There was also a sign-up link on the bottom which looked a bit dodgy, so I checked the web address I was on... (drumroll)... it wasn't the BBC!
After googling Quantum AI (that's what the fund is supposedly called), I found articles that it's a scam that many people have fallen for. There's currently about seventeen different websites operating as Quantum AI, ready to take your money.
I wanted to post this as a warning, as it is a Youtube ad, so it obviously circumvented their scam protection somehow. I case any of you encounter the interview (which is AI deepfake that never happened), report it as scam, and move on. Never invest in anything with the promise of free money!
