Screen aliases like crazy on wake?

Ya basically when I hit my button to take my computer out of standby and my screen turns back on it aliases like crazy for 30 seconds to a minute. Drives me NUTS!

Any idea what might be causing this, I have never had this happen to me before this new video card.

try omega drivers based on catalyst 6.12, their v.good ;)

Ya I think I figured it out.. Me being lazy and not doing things as I should probably nothing new..

When I got my new mobo and video card I went from AGP x1300pro to PCI-E x1300xt.. I never un-installed the old drivers and software because the card just worked.. It was using it as a x1300, now I un-installed and re-installed the new drivers and now its saying x1600/x1300xt series and it even looks better. I'm going to give 3dmark a run and see if I don't score higher too...
